Well, I spent a few minutes messing around with a new website for our gardening and small homestead operation. But I gave up — I already have a website! So, for the time being, right here is the place I’ll be posting updates on our garden and chickens. You can check out the YouTube channel HERE.
Yesterday, June 3, I noticed the first little budding broccoli. We live in Zone 4, so this is significant. (Zone 4 has a relatively late frost-free date and early frost date.) But because we start our plants indoors (“undercover sowing”) we get a jump on things — and it was a warm May, to boot.
